Inside and outside of you…
Yesterday I was watching a science fiction movie in which, once again, there were war scenes. And one of the sentences that ended the movie, when the war was finally over, grabbed my attention: ‘…we are fickle stupid beings with poor memories and a great gift for self-destruction. Although who knows, maybe this time we will learn……’.
The wars that we hear on TV or those that we have unfortunately experienced or continue to experience first hand, reflect a tendency of the human beings towards conflict, contrast, self-destruction of their own race. And if we think about it carefully, in our small context, we also live our daily lives in constant conflict with what we ‘have’ to live.
Ask yourself….: “Do you feel at peace inside?
The opposite of peace is war, conflict.
Are you at peace with what is happening in your life right now? Are you trying once again to change what is, without accepting it? What happens inside of you when you don’t accept things as they are? Well, you suffer, you get frustrated… you get lost! It seems that life has a different plan than what you had planned. And there the war begins. The internal war.
If we were at peace internally there would be no conflict and, on a large scale, there would be no wars in the world.
Finding peace internally is not something you seek just for yourself. By healing ourselves, we heal the path of future generations. You do it for yourself, for your children, your children’s children and our entire race.
In a few days I will accompany a man in a personalized reconnection retreat (see the personalized retreats that I propose, this link through Yoga, Meditation, Shiatsu, Water Therapy and the practice of the Inner Journey and when in our introductory call I talked to him about searching for inner peace, inner peace, he asked me: “And what is it like to live in this dimension of peace?”
It is living in the present moment, it is living in connection with our true nature, without fear, without doubts, in acceptance and trust.
It is choosing peace, over conflict.
What if this is the free will?
