El Tao Azul, a place of peace next to the sea…. The El Tao Azul is a space for Yoga, Body Movements, Therapies and Harmony in Nerja. A place of true peace next to the sea inspired by the ancient Chinese book of the Tao Te Ching by Lao Tzu written more than 2500 years ago. In this sacred book of the Way and Virtue, Master Lao Tzu offers us the tools to live this existence comfortably. And it does so by guiding us towards nature to inspire us in our daily lives. It invites us to observe and imitate it to detach ourselves from expectations, so that we do not resist the flow of events and we stay in the center, listening deeply to our true nature. Without control we let events happen and we find ourselves in each one, learning from them. In many poems he refers to Water as the element that can most inspire the path of our existence. The element of Water and its way of flowing inspires how our life could flow…And it simply invites us to experience it, becoming water. Live like water! He invites us.
El Tao Azul is the water and this is the reason why I gave the space this name, so that all the variety of sessions offered might be inspired by the water element and its free flow… Water is where you come from, go back there! Flow without resistance, be flexible in your actions and your thoughts. Just breathe and be yourself. Let events manifest without stopping them or trying to change them. Let everything be. Life knows what it’s doing, let it take you to happiness. Do not resist. Everything has a meaning.
The therapies and sessions we share in El Tao Azul Nerja are all orientd to let go and grow mental and physical flexibility just as water does, without resisting….
Nothing in the world is as soft and flexible as water. However, to dissolve what is hard and inflexible, nothing can surpass it. The soft overcomes the hard, the soft overcomes the rigid. Lao Tse
I invite you to practice the activities of El Tao Azul in Nerja and among others, to practice conscious meditation to achieve more mental flexibility. I invite you to observe yourself during the day to feel how you are, how you react to events and how you are trying to resist life instead of living it… Just observe… Namasté.
