Staying present and calm throughout the entire day.
Have you ever tried to be present for a while? What being present mean? It means being completely aware of the thoughts I am having, the emotions I am feeling , the perception of my five senses and the body I am wearing in this existence. How do I reach this status of complete awareness? One practical way is through the attention to the breath. «Breathing in, I am aware that I am breathing in, Breathing out, I am aware that I am breathing out…In, Out…
Yes we are beings living through the act of breathing. But are we really conscious of this so natural act? And what does change when I get aware of it? When I focus on the in-breath and out-breath? The answer is a status of deep calm. I get aware of my body, of my tensions, of my emotions and my constant thoughts. And once I am aware of those, I am able to make the shift to relax the body, to recognise my deeper doubts and suffering and I am able to overcome fear, sadness, anger and so on…It anchors us to the depth of our inner Self, where there is no frustration, no anxiety nor fear. The Essence talks through the voice of the Heart. And only when the mind silences, the voice of the Heart raises. And that open the gate to peace and harmony. Shall we give it a try? Make it an every day routine and your life will change for good!
«Yoga is a way to freedom. By its constant practice, we can free ourselves from fear, anguish and loneliness.» – Indra Devi
